Ken was a Commercial Artist for over 35 years providing illustration and design to major ad agencies and corporations. His clients included McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft, Fairchild Aircraft, Sabreliner, Falcon Jet, Annheuser Busch, John Deere, the Experimental Aircraft Association, and many others. Ken had eleven years of experience in illustrating aviation product, both in production and on the drawing board, as a staff artist for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft. Ken was also featured in many periodicals including Aviation Art Magazine and Sport Aviation. In 1991 Ken became a member of the American Society of Aviation Artists when he was honored with the member classification Artist Fellow. Ken was a licensed pilot with power and glider ratings. He was also a Viet Nam veteran, and regularly flew a fully restored 1943 L-4B and was building a full scale Fokker DR-1 triplane from plans.
