Hurricane

The Hawker Hurricane was a work horse during those bleak moments of the Battle of Britain in 1940.  It is often thought that Spitfires carried the encounter more than the Hurricanes, but in truth it was the other way around.  Illustrated here is a Hurricane with  other information about the era.
