B-25

The B-25 was both a powerful aircraft and had a feel pilots loved.  It saw service through-out the war years but the history making event for this North American design was the attack on Japan by Jimmy Doolittle and his Raiders.  Launced from the carrier Hornet, they hit five cities in Japan, boosting moral in the U. S. when it was so badly needed.
