Francis "Gabby" Gabreski was one of the best known fighter aces of World War II. Seen here in his P-47D Thunderbolt, his story is one of heroism, patriotism, and personal sacrifice. He served in two wars proving his abilities in both piston aircraft as well as jet aircraft while serving in Korea.
