The Kamakaze ("divine wind")  was a group of Japanese pilots trained to carry out suicide missions against allied shipping during World War II.  During the invasion of Okinawa these units were quite successful at sinking U.S. cargo ships. A Misubishi A6M5 Zeke with artifacts of the times is illustrated.
