B-29

History has forever linked the Boeing B-29 with the first use of atomic weapons.  On August 6,1945, a single B-29, the Enola Gay, dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan.  Illustrated is the Enola Gay and other spots pertaining to the B-29.  The original painting is signed by Paul Tibbets, pilot, and Richard Nelson radio operator, and George (Bob) Caron, tail gunner. The signatures appear on 11x17 and 20x30 prints.
