Stuka
Hans Rudel, illustrated above, was the leading JU-87 Stuka pilot of the war . Like a cat with nine lives he escaped death on several occasions during his operations on the eastern front. Shown here is one of the several Stukas that Rudel flew against the Russians. He was credited with the destruction of over 500 Russian tanks.
