Designed to replace, and in many ways restore, the reputation of the McDonnell Aircraft Company after the disaster the Demon caused, was the very successful F-4 Phantom. The F-4 Phantom had everything the demon did not - twin engines, good thrust-to-weight ratio and superb handling characteristics. This illustration shows many of the variants of the F-4 Phantom.
