Wildcat

Butch O'Hare and the Grumman F4F Wildcat he flew are seen in this airbrush illustration. Butch was awarded the medal of honor for preventing the sinking of his aircraft carrier.  His ship was under attack by at least six Mitsubishi Zeros.  He alone shot down five and ran off the rest, saving his ship and its crew.  Later, Chicago would name the busiest airport in the world after him.

Order Number 099
